you need wider tires.

I slid backwards 100 yards in my suburban the other day at work, but all I needed to do was get out and put the chains on.

I need to post some pics of the suburban with the 33's on it.

oh tell me about it.. if it wasnt so damn expensive it would be up about 6" and on some nice tires its got a big block so turning the tires isnt an issue...

except when its sitting on the frame and rear end... DOH!!!

had the little tires on because I have chains for them but not for the big tires.

still got stuck.

I knew I was in trouble when I started and I was following other tracks and was getting slowed down because the clearance on the suburban was so low that I was plowing.
