OK. So im selling my BMW. I am tryin to free up some cash. Wanting to buy a truck for less than 9,000 dollars.

I'm new to trucks. I love the reliablility of my dads toyota 22R motor.

But help me out..........

What truck fits this resume.

- Extended cab (i'd like to be able to carry at least 3 people)
- 4wd
- Gets at least 24mpg
- probably 4 cyl

Basically i want a truck that can carry a trackbike around, and i can carry more than 1 person, annnnnnnnd it gets decent gas mileage. I.e. no big huge trucks. Midsize and mini truck only. I'd appreciate some comments/help!!!!

Yea, i dun care about the mileage if its yota or nissan, but that truck is BEAT! I want something decent. But all i really care about......... ext. cab. 2cyl and 4wd option.

I was looking at Sonata's too. Like 97-00 but someone told me they break down a lot. Is this true?

Toyota what Rich? Throw some models/ years at me. IM new to this.

well hell I had a 1984 SR5 4x4 that went thru hell and back and still was running like the day I bought it when I traded it in on my K-5 Blazer... Pretty much ANY toyota 4x4 will be good Darren...

lol.
I'm guessing i'll be looking at the 96 on, tacomas and frontiers. Kinda limits my search. OH well.

I really like the Tacoma's they are great trucks.. I wish you luck in your search... Just set up the Chevelle with a hitch.. buy a little trailer and then you'd be ROLLIN IN STYLE!!!!
