ChumpCar racing?

My first thread, so hi, but anybody do this? It is basically racing $500 beaters on real race tracks and you don't need a pro license!?! My buddies and I are building a rusty BMW 2002 for the PIR opener April 9-10. It will be two 7hr races, one Sat., and one Sun. There is also a 24hr race in Spokane in July and a set of 12 and 6hr races at PIR in Oct. I'm really stoked, I've always wanted to race cars! Here is more info:
