This weekend me and my girl took a little road trip to Bannack Montana. Bannack was the first territorial capital of Montana, and since 1970 has been a ghost town. Nothing too exciting, some nice scenery, a couple of buildings that just gave me the creeps. One of the buildings is supposedly haunted by the ghost of a 12 year old girl, I could have sworn I heard a young girl say hello to me after I entered one of the buildings, I looked up at my girlfriend and she didn't seem to have heard anything. ![]() Only in Montana, I thought I was gonna have to stop for this, I was cruising along around 90mph when Alesha started yelling something about the camera and some cows. ![]() ![]() This is the road into the park. ![]() Another view from the road in ![]() The main drag ![]() View of one of the jailhouses ![]() Looking out the previous jailhouse's window towards the gallows in the distance. ![]() Closer to the gallows now. ![]() The other jailhouse, to the left in the first jailhouse's pic ![]() ![]() The masonic temple, one of a few areas they wouldn't allow the public. ![]() Mining Equipment ![]() Checking on my baby from the "haunted" Hotel. We have many more pictures, just not on my camera. It was a long ass trip just for a day, we left Saturday morning came back Sunday morning. Approx 740 miles round trip. Slabbed it the whole way, I90 east-I15 south. I15 was pretty damn boring, mostly straight, had a hard time keeping it anywhere near the speed limit. | ||
