heck yes. As the pictures testify.

It was a fuse.

At some point tehre was alot of current moving through the switch box. It not only blew th fuse,but melted the box together a bit. ui think it was when I plugged the two spare lines together to keep them out of the street when I took out the burnt bulb to find a new one.
