I Drive: '93 Z28 Camaro & '78 GMC 4X4 454/400

My Project: BB Ford speedboat
Speed comes in may forms besides two or four wheels.
I'm into boats besides bikes, had my share of cars and still into 4X4's but my speedboat is my main project for the time being.
My 18' cruiser moves pretty good with a 305 Chevy V-8 but my go fast toy is a low profile jetboat with a big block Ford.
She was about 400hp with a mild built 460",coming soon a dual quad tunnel ram equiped much more built 466" (.030 over 460) Cobrajet making around 600hp on pump gas.
Mucho trick work on the block, oilpump etc.
New forged pistons, new 565 lift custom ground cam and roller rockers, new Eagle forged I-Beam rods, new Scat 9000 crank, etc.
Had the heads ,block & oil pump were done here.....

V-8 cruiser

Go fast jet

Soon,seriousley ported big valve heads

Intake before and after cobrajet gasket match, feltpen lines show how much it will be opened up.
Heads are early 429 high compression converted to Ford Racing Cobrajet stainless steel valves,2.25" intakes!

This setup with be polished and or jethot coated, carbs are 1:1 Holley 660 cfm centersquirt drag racing carbs, all 8 barrels open together.

Miller engineering 7075 aircraft aluminum roller rockers.

It's hard to describe, straightforward acceleration,no gears just steady pull.
Flying across the water is a real rush,75mph on water feels like 150mph on land.
