I ran across a couple photos of two of my old 4X4's...thought I'd share; My '70 Burban. 6" lift, great old truck..wish I still had it. Pictured here at one of our mining properties back in the mid 80's. Rougly at 9500' above sea level in the White Mt's outside Bishop, Ca. ![]() Another, my 10 year project; 1972 Blazer. Shots taken in the early 80's around Grangeville, Idaho; Prior to complete repaint; ![]() Here it is most of the way done...just needed to finish the hood with the reverse cowl;

Love those old rigs! had a '69 3door 4X4 Sub years ago with a 350/4sp/205 with 4:10 gears,wish I still had it too. My resto project someday will be my '72 GMC 2500 4X4. 350/4sp/205/4:10 gears I got it from my Dad who bought in new,all OEM and never been apart. It's stashed in a barn right now awaiting a full resto. My current driver is a '78 GMC 2500 4X4,454/400auto/203/4:56 gears. ![]() ![]()

That 72 GMC will be worth some coin if you do it right.. Particularly if it is a factory A/C truck.. Keep us posted on your progress!

It's cool to see older pics like that when trucks were trucks! Heavy as sh#t and you could actually hear them when they fired up.
