My Project: 66 Buick GS, 56 Ford F100 big window



Motor is .30 over, hipo 289 cam, headers, Edelbrock performer 289, Holley 600, distributor recurved, 8" posi 3:55 gears, T10 trans, and a 125 shot.... :eek:

Nope, putting the old one back in till I get all the roller stuff and 5 speed stuff together. I did ring and bearing the old 289 and found number 2 ringland on piston 5 broken. I wonder how that could have happened... Maybe the big ass nitrous backfires???? Nah, those cast pistons can handle it... LMAO

You really don't want to see it right now..... The motor and trans are out, the rear end is in pieces since I am pulling the mini spool and putting in my new posi, the wheels and tires are off since I am changing them, and it is dusty as hell!!! I will have to take some pics of the motor on the stand and the new wheels that are going on it. The wheels are very "retro" looking but are 16"...

I got the spacers, all I need is some tires. Looking at going 245/60/16 on the back and 205/45/16 on the front. They should look awesome!!!!

i'd say thats way too small up front. I'm running 225/245 on my little 4 banger nissan. I'd say do least that. Preferably 235/265.
