Just a quick question..

Can the head bolts in a First gen CRX D15A2 motor be reused?

Nobody but the dealer sells the head bolts.. I'd rather not sped $140 on bolts if it's not required..

If they do need replaced will the 88+ ARP head studs work?

I dont see why they wouldnt be able to. Unless you are upgrading internals i.e. more power. Then if you are then I'd upgrade as much as you could to maintain that new found power.

No it's be just a stock motor..

This will be the oldest kid's first car in 2 years..

That gives me some time to get the bugs worked out of it before he gets to destroy it...

I put the head back on tonight.. Timing belt on, exhaust, intake.. I have a few hoses and the EGR to put back yet.. We'll see if it is good to go tomorrow.

This isn't the first motor I've put together.. Just the first Honda..

Thanks!
