Haha Have had a lot of experince with them boys, if it wasn't for the fact they're the only real game in town, I'd use some one else. they IMO come across as one, watch your back and check book, two sketchy

I've heard that they're pretty much legendary even across the country. When I get a rebuild its either going to be them or Hayes rotary

hayes rotary went out of business due to their extremely shady business practices, atkins is not doing much better the last few years. go to rx7club.com or nopistons.com and ask in the NW region sections about atkins. they have alienated a lot of the local rotary enthusiasts and will not honor their warranties.

i know of at least 4 different cases where they refused to honor warranties on motors they built. when this was brought up to the local rotary scene on rx7club there was quite a bit of concern, basically atkins told rx7clubs owner they were going to pull their sponsorship of rx7club if the threads werent deleted. this was one of the main reasons most of the local rx enthusiasts moved to nopistons.com.

some of the owners seeking warranty replacement took atkins to court and won. seems like atkins would have been better off just honoring their warranty than alienating most of the local rotary enthusiasts and practicing such shady business practices.
