So whats the fastest STREET LEGAL car you've ridden in? Meaning you actually drove, or rode passenger in it at least a mile. No race cars, and no "oh i sat in this" crap.

So whats ur answer? Story time :D

rode in a 05 or 06 Ford GT. It was on our showroom for AGES so im sure it was a 05, but like i said im not positive. Anyway, we hit 100 in a matter of seconds then let off. fastest car ive driven would have to be my buddies turboed integra, but now that i think about it my ex bosses 06 mercedes slk55 was pretty fucking fast too. so ya, and im guessing bikes dont count right?

400+ HP 95 Celica GTS All Trac, thing pulled so hard you were hard pressed to lift your ass outa the racing seats with the pedal to the floor. It was approx 350-375 HP to the tires boost alone, with nitrous thrown in for a lil extra kick. Granted its not that fast of a car, but was damn quicker than most daily drivers I see.

Lets see, fastest I have driven 115(pegged at the governor) in a 90 mitsubishi galant at around 3am for the whole distance between post falls and CDA on I90. 125ish in a 2002-03 Grand Am GT V6 at the governor, 115 in my Mustang at the governor(plenty of ppower and Rpms left in 5th), and well over 85 (speedo #'s stopped there) in a 83 1/2Ton Chevy 4X4 with a N/A 383, throttle was stuck wide open, both feet on the brakes, speedo was wrapping around and still gaining speed with me on the brakes. After the run in the Chevy the tranny needed a rebuild, needed new brakes up front, and I needed to change my shorts.

Actually if you hit the limiter, then you should have been doing 155.

I believe the limiter is based on RPM rather than speedo readout. So go ahead and say 155!;)

Jesus man. If you havent hit at least 150 MPH in a Street car you HAVE to do that, that is my goal for you guys this year! Not saying its the Smartest shit I've done but when I was stationed at Ft. Lewis I would go to the street races that started out in Renton or Kent and end up blasting through Seattle racing with 20-30 other cars at 1 Am over 140+. I WANT to know whos it was SO bad, Revhard might know the guy, but I raced this White Dinan Supercharged 5 Series Bimmer on the 5 at like 2 AM one night weaving in and out at like 165+ for 4 or 5 miles, that was a fast ass car too! But my Z dusted his a$$ hehhh;)

150+ is on my list of things to do before I die. I've ridden in cars approaching that speed, just never been behind the wheel.

Ughh thinkin of this pisses me off, my buddys wife a few years ago before he met her. She was chillin at a bar in CDA one night, the bar was having a Marlboro party, she ended up winning an all expenses paid trip to some Racing School sponsored by Marlboro. This woman could give a shit less about performance driving, she hates racing of all forms. She ended up starting out in like Roush Mustangs, then they worked into Busch Series type cars, then they got into the open wheels with the mini indy cars. Pisses me off whenever I go to their place and see the pictures knowing that she knows that just about any guy walking through that door would have killed her to have that trip. I think she gets off on it, pissing guys off.

135 in a 89 crown victoria police interceptor. It had more to go, but on shwab grand ams it was ify as it was. Damn that was fast in a land yacht, but at least it had the huge front rotors and fade resistant pads to hual it down in time for the stop sign.

My Dad's black SRT-4 with a stage 3 turbo uprgrade, 3" exhaust/cats, about 23 lbs of boost and a huge intercooler. Fun car. Low 12's @ 120+ in the 1/4 mile. Before that it was his '66 SS Chevelle with a convertible top, my favourite car ever.

The fastest street car i've driven was an 03 SVT cobra with 511rwhp ported pullied supercharger, full exhaust, preadator II, intake, 135mm tb, off the bottle. It was quite a bit faster on the 150 shot. 183 in that car.

Second fastest was a stripped down 91 rx7 with a ls1 swap, full exhaust, intake. 2400lbs and close to 400 hp is outta control.

The fastest production car a 2007 Shelby Gt500. Just a couple miles down the road in a customers car. 140 in that one. Seemed like it could use another 200whp to make me happy.

Well aren't you cool, but as for me being a menace to society just isn't one of the things I need to do before I die.

I think it was appropriate based on his description of "weaving in and out at like 165+ for 4 or 5 miles".

Sorry, but even on a car site, I am not cool with that. So I went there.

I admitted to doing 130+, and I never said I was on a track, but I will say it was on a completely deserted stretch of highway.

Don't be jealous? heheheh... That's funny sheit.

And racing a car on I5 doing 165+ weaving in and out for 4-5 miles at 2:00 in the morning is NOTHING like riding a wheelie. How you can relate the two is beyond me.

I'm not a speed nazi or anything but that's just retarded.
