I saved up a bunch of money with my X wife, and we had been sharing one car witch was a pain in the ass. I was looking for a car for myself and I asked the X if she knew of any good cars because I cam from a shitty old honda background (my dad loves shitty old hondas). One of her neighbors years ago had a talon and she said she loved the look of it. So i went on ebay found one in oregon (this one tsi awd). When we went to buy it I had NO idea it was turbo or all wheel drive just luck of the draw. All I knew was that it required premium gas and I did not tell her that until after we bought it. I didnt even know what the boost gauge was. The entire drive home I couldnt figure out why it was going up so much, i think I thought it had something to do with the transmission. LOL I was an idiot, but not as dumb as the guys who know and still buy a non-turbo. from then on I got into the DSM forums and the local DSM crowds which was fucking awesome, there was a real good vibe back then. Now the local/dsm scene has turned into a bunch of emo homo faggots that I cannot stand. I have a bunch of real good friends still into em, but the majority are worthless pieces of emo shit. :p Thanks! BTW. My daily driver just broke down and i am waiting for parts to get shipped in to fix it. So I am pulling this bad boy out of storage for a week or two so I can stop freezing my shit off on the bike. Just my opinion, but you shouldnt base your WHP estimate off a DSM link. My brother has a built ass 6 bolt in his 99 GSX and his DSM link and his buddies DSM links all read different. Just a pic of his, cuz its a badd bitch...

thats why I said "ish" HP. However I have weighed the car and have the exact weight of the car dialed into my dsmlink. I also use a 20% drivetrain loss into the calculation which "should" be a little high for these AWD's loss. I've seen a lot of dyno runs correlated correctly to dsmlink's estimates, if your weight/etc is entered in accurately it is pretty damn close. Also, a evoIII16g turbo setup on these cars flow generally 40lbs/min and I have seen tons of dyno proof that 40lbs/min is about 380-400HP. looks like a nice car.

So many things that I want to do to mine, but the car is not in as good of shape as I would want it to be in order to start putting money into it. And it is front wheel, no good for more than stock power...the damn thing already has traction issues. I would love to do all of the usual dsm tricks to the car, but it's just not a clean and straight enough car for me to do it in.

:D :D :D :D yeah, hate to break it, but that's a butt ugly car... to the OP however, no bling and lots of go fast goodies? not too shabby... you may never hear me say that about another tuner on this entire board, ever....

Yes, no bling on my rig, I hate that shit, not a sticker on it that didnt come from the factory. The ONLY exterior mod I did to it was adding the clear side lenses. I have been tossing the idea around of painting the intercooler/etc black so that no one would know it is modded. Except for the exhaust which almost looks stock since you can only see the dual outs.
