Cant it? Just curious by the name of the room... My car rocks with no power adders in my opinion. maybe it should be called the power adder room lol

the mudstain eh.... HAHA!! Its all good. '69 351W block, .30 over I think, 12:1, big solid roller cam, Victor JR aluminum heads and intake, about 800cfm holley, long tube headers, full 2.5" exhaust all the way back with tailpipes even, Custom built Frank Lupo C4, reverse manual valve body with a brake, 8.8 rear with a spool and moser axles, c clip elimitators. Car with me in race gear and helmet, working heater, full interior and cage is 2915# best so far is a 10.94@126mph, leaving off the footbrake, still spins the tires even with slicks.. should get down to 10.70's once I get some good suspension on it, then the cheater NOS system will be hooked up ;) I drive it more on the street than the track. ![]() Here at mission raceway, you can see the RR tire smoking a bit, this was before the spool on ET streets. It ran a 11.70 on street tires first time to the track LOL, this was before the cage so they told me to quit. Last edited by WarriorDriver; 12-21-2006 at 01:11 PM.

I retract my comment for now. haha. Those are some impressive times out of a n/a car. What kind of power/torque does that make to the ground? BTW if you get me some pictures of that volvo of yours my friend is still interested.

not sure, have not put it onto a friends dyno yet, but the motor should be around 550hp, shift at 7500! itll bust the rear tires into smoke at 50mph on the street, and is the quietest car at the track.

What about the vovlo? Also "it's the quietest car on the track"? I didn't know 550 hp was supposed to be quiet. haha

Warrior - Good time! I wasn't sure if it was the same Mustang as the one MPS runs. I like Mission, they were always good to me when I went up there. In fact I got 10 runs in on one night, basically hot lapping by the end of the night. They prep the track decently, too.. not near as hit and miss as Bremerton and Pacific.

go to SRP, ask them to VHT the track before your run, guess the response? "What? We don't do that here." My response: "Thanks."

| First Gear Joined: Dec 2006 From: Lynden, WA Posts: 22 I Drive: Fast | My car is quiet cause its the only one up there with 3 chamber flowmasters and full tailpipes.. everyone else has dumps after loud mufflers.. guess its kind of a sleeper... Had an import messing with me through town once, when he pulled up next to me at the gas stating and rolled down his window and noticed my car idling so rough he nodded and drove off.... | ||

Damn John, you need to get some new pics man. The following directed to the rest of you guys... I have a n/a 1.2 liter that makes pretty good power. (hint you better run 9s) There are also some new things called indy cars, maybe you guys have heard of them, little tiny n/a engines, make ludicrous amounts of power... Heck even my ancient 1960s design, n/a, pushrod v8 makes over 300 at the wheels with only 306 inches and its just got some "basic bolt-ons". Last edited by ddonaca351; 04-27-2008 at 04:11 AM.
