gotta love chevy.. working at an autoparts store and owning a few fords the water pumps on fords just really sucks balls... i beat my little s10 with the 4 banger (which was on hot rod mags top 10 worst engine) and it still runs great...

Chevy all the way!! As an auto tech I've worked on many different types and would much rather work on Chevys or any Gm product for that matter. I've owned over 700 vehicles and I can count on one hand the brands that weren't GM. And on two hands the types of those. Easy and less expensive, plus they just make a better product.

It wont let me vote, but these days I'd have to pick Chrysler. They have taken a step above the rest of the Domestic brands in terms of Quality, Fit & Finish, and variety (excluding trucks). Unlike many of the Ford & Chevy vehicles out today, each of their (chryslers) vehicles look like the parts in them were made specifically for that vehicle. They dont use the cheap plastics for their low-grade vehicle on their high-end models - something domestics have been criticised for for years.

The 300C is a great vehicle, and with the recent introduction of an Escalade-esque SUV to their lineup, I think they are in a good position to move on the previously larger companies.

I sell Fords and see comparisons daily. Chryslers are the worst because "Once you own a chrysler you won't own another make because nobody other than a chrysler dealer will give you anthing for it". Nobody drives a dodge truck they always drive a "hemi" or a "cummins" I'm in the heart of truck country and the Ford will out haul/tow both chevy and chrysler. There is a reasone the F series trucks have been the #1 selling truck for 29 years running. 2008 We'll have a 6.4Litre Twin Turbo that will be a beast. The Fusions/focus have been getting rave reviews by consumer reports and we sell the crap out of them.

Haha it's not even dodge on the poll it's Chrysler.

You looked at the market hold over the last 5 years? And I specifically said 'beside trucks' in my Chrysler comparison. Resale on the newer vehicles have been better than ever before, and they're selling more New from the dealerships (ratio/size) then Chevy/Ford are these days.

Spec i'm not attacking you or responding to your post at all. All personal bias on my part in which this poll is for. What I said about once you own one that's all you'll ever own was because I can't ever get anyone out of a chrysler if they financed it becuase they depreciate soo fast. IMO everyone is making good new cars but some just are better than others.

I voted Crysler only because I had the real Hemi Challenger back in 71, yes I'm that old. what a car who'd ever guess they'd be worth what they are to bad they are not the same today as then, I'm not to much a van of any new factory performance stuff, thou when the dust settles, I'll be behind a Chevy.. and when i get my truck done.

They are all struggling financially, but Ford and Chrysler are struggling internally considerably more than GM (management, partners, etc.). Board members, executives, and high-level engineers are filtering through worse than teenagers working in fast food right now.

I work in the industry.

Always loved Mopar stuff. I voted Chrysler here for the poll, but I currently drive a Ford. Go figure.
