I don't think you're crazy, that IS300 is a sweet looking machine.. I am partial to German engineered cars.. Love our '06 GTI. I really miss my 911S....bad!

My favorite import is the 2002-2003 BMW M5. Japanese market would have been owned by my old Integra Type-R, but I hated the fact it was a FWD. RWD would have made it a legend. Awesome looking ride, misfit. It's coming together!

I like my 91 nissan 180sx but it's too loud and rough of a ride to be my favorite overall. There are just too many amazing imports. In a sub 50k vehicle I love the Evo 9 MR and the r34 skylines. Latley i've been looking for a new car for my wife and 02+ Audi S4's fit the bill along with the Volvo S60R's. A good combination of easily attainable 300 hp with a chip and luxury.

I'd go rs4 too if i had the cash. S4 with 10k into it would be quite the daily driver.

Ben the timing chain is stretched. It idles perfectly but once it revs to 1500-2,000 rpms the timing chain was slapping on the guide. I had a small leak out of my front cover as well so I pulled the engine/tranny last night and I'm goign to re-gasket the engine and replace the timing chain/tensioner/guides as my winter project while the roads are too slick for the 1.5 way limited slip and the r6.

one import, favorite....if I could only have one car, probably an STi. If I had several, a 993 turbo would kick serious ass.

Volvo V70 series in general, I like the evolvement of the 850 body as well as the current style. I have a 98 T5, and I love it. Comfy, safe, handles pretty good, light (dry = only 3700lb), the cops never look twice unless you are WAY over the limit. And the thing is surprisingly fast, stock. I have blown away a few 'faster' cars with it because it is such a sleeper. Wanting to get a current generation V70R though, I will lower it probably 1", and put some goodies from IPD on it, that would be my favorite attainable import for me.

Ok Kevin...now that I have figured out how to run this scanner thingamubob...I rounded up a few pics. Not the best ones...couldn't find those. But these will do. 1977 911S. Stock except for Borla exhaust, Carerra chain tensioners, pop-off valve, Momo steering wheel....thats all I can remember. I wish I'd have never sold this car. It had 22K one owner miles on it when I bought it. 33K when I sold it. It was flawless. Absolutely perfect. Stupid. Just plain stupid. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Twin Turbo 300ZXs, G35 Coupes, R32,33, and 34 GTR Skylines, 240s with a good LSD and turbo, Oh yeah, did I mention TTZs? This is a great sight to leave someone with at 150+ Especially the 600cc bikes that think they can top you, as you walk off of them at 155ish.

My favorite has got to be the Lotus Elise. I'm not big on any of the Japanese cars except for the likes of the Skyline, Supras, and any of the Z's. Maybe the older MR2's also.

Coming home from Whistler yesterday traffic stopped fast in front of me, I stopped fine, just had time to sit back and relax when 2003 Lincoln Navigator smashed into us. Totalled the car, luckily we were in a Volvo;) Today I am a little sore in my neck an upper back, but considering the impact force I am not doing to bad. We had the back of the car filled almost to the roof with ski gear and other stuff, but because of the built-in cargo retention net that goes from the back of the rear seats and hooks into the roof, nothing flwe forward at all. The damage: Blew out the rear window, crushed the rear load floor a bit, smashed the liftgate so there is no way it is going to open. Smashed the passenger side rear window, and partially stuck the rear passenger door closed. The roofline on the pasenger side is bent down as a result of absorbing the impact. We had some glass all over the interior, but nobody ended up hurt. Luckily the kids weren't with us at the time. It was my wife, and my friend and his wife that had gone skiing with us, nobody was injured other than being a little stiff and sore. I will try and post pics within the next day or two.

I miss my acura integra :( Sucker had like 170K on it, never drank a DROP of oil and i dang near, or DID redline her at least 5 times a day. I beat the crap outta this car, and it just never broke. EVER. Never even replaced a battery. Dumbest mistake EVER to let this car go for what i did. I'd give my bimmer away anyday to get this car back. Its in auburn/kent somewhere. *sigh*
