Audi FWD is better than the quattro because the performance acceleration response is better, quicker. It's worse in corners and slippery conditions. In dry, it's more fun, slightly better fuel economy. The quattro will go through the tight twisties faster but the FWD will exit the corners a bit faster. The quattro will come off the line faster because it wont break the tires loose, but once you get going, the FWD is quicker. And the FWD is lighter. But the quattro is way better in wet and slippery conditions. Thoughts?

I can take my awd, and do a basic chip and waste gate adjustment and all those statements are false... and really its only about 260lbs difference

^^ Agreed. AWD for the win. Hands down. If you are concerned about losing that minuscule amount of accel...chip it. The REVO stage 1 flash puts the 1st gen 2.0l turbo from 200 hp to 250 hp, and moves the torque from 207 to 285. Serious fun.
