As a street rod builder/auto restorer....somes good, somes not. People tend to only see the outer beauty and not delve into the hardcore build parts. Example....here's a 57 BelAir I finished about 6 weeks ago. Extremely pimp i all aspects, but, you can't see the 5 days of micro detailed wiring that went in from new fuseblock, to every wire on the car being mine. You can't see the ultimate fab werk that went into measuring, and top shelf welding by me to fit the late model Vortec, and trans. You can't see the countless hours involved in making the 4 wheel disc set operate just right. Nope...all the nekkid eye sees is body, paint, upholstery. This was a 4 month frame off project.

Well...justa coupla snaps anyways. :D

Very nice Gleno, your correct about most people don't understand the time and effort involved in making a car look as good as they do. I had my own shop for 6 years and know exactlly where your comming from. People see the detail, but they don't realize it. They know it looks better than the next car but can't put thier finger on it. That's the sign that we as builders did our job.

Damn. That is my dream to work on street rods and muscle cars for a living!!! It is always the little things that make or break a fine automobile. It is stuff like radiusing door openings and smoothing body lines that make a nice ride into a incredable ride..
